James Joseph Roukey was the baby of James Abraham Routhier (Roukey) and Elizabeth née Lyons. He passed away at two days old. He was baptized at St. Raphael Parish the day of his death and his godmother was Louise Roukey. James A. and Elizabeth lived at 130 Walker Street at the time of their son's death.

The Routhier name had been Americanized to Roukey prior to James Joseph's birth.

Note: St. Raphael Parish records show James Joseph as married to Laura Bernadette Lambert. This is inaccurate. Laura was married to Joseph James born the same year.

Elizabeth had James disinterred in 1911 about a month after her husband died. The initial death record had baby his cause of death as traumatic meningitis. The disinterment record has cholera infantum.

Elizabeth remarried to Henry George Weller and in NH on 11 Jul 1912.
