Mr. Clarence E. Ballou, 83, of Midway, Arkansas passed away June 7, 2019 in Flippin, Arkansas. He was born September 17, 1935 to Clarence and Grace (Schultz) Ballou in Berwyn, Illinois. He served in the U. S. Army. He was a well known auto mechanic. He worked many years at Ferrell-Hicks Dealership in Chicago Heights, Illinois and owned and operated Lakeview Auto Service in Lakeview, Arkansas. His hobbies included photography, fishing, model trains and his 1977 Chevy Show Truck.

He was married to Carolyn Jean McFarling for 30 years and to this union two daughters were born. He is survived by his two daughters: Carrie (Curt) Racine of Gamaliel, Arkansas and Cheryl (Larry, Jr.) Blasdel of Yellville, Arkansas; grandsons: Chris Racine of Bentonville, Arkansas; Roger Racine of Gamaliel, Arkansas, Tyler (Hannah) Blasdel of Lakeview, Arkansas and one granddaughter, Danyelle Blasdel of Yellville, Arkansas; great grandchildren: Jaryn Racine, Larissa Racine, Cheyenne Racine, Jaxon Racine, Rylee Racine, Bodhi Racine.

He was proceeded in death by both parents, one brother, Kenneth Ballou; two sisters: Virginia Houlihan and Janice Schlueter and his wife, Carolyn.
