Gladys W. Kisselle (nee Brawner), 94, loving wife of the late Kenneth K. Kisselle, Jr.; loving mother of Karl (Amy), Karen Bell (Jim), and Kent (Kim); devoted grandmother of seven and great grandmother of six; dear sister of the late Katherine Killian, Mildred Bourne, Janice Brown, Elinor Seevers, Betty Bauckmann, Dorothy Brawner, Linda Upchurch and Elgin Brawner; aunt of many. Passed away Monday, June 5, 2023.

Gladys was a member of the United Church of Christ and enjoyed singing in the church choir, a passion she brought to Avon Lake from her childhood home in Virginia, where she sang in her hometown church choir, accompanied by her mother who played the organ. She enjoyed traveling and soaking up the sun. She loved to go for long walks with her Cherry Lane girls and then later in life with her Westwinds crew. She collected bells and had an extensive collection of giraffes that her grandchildren and great grandchildren were in awe of. She was a voracious reader and loved to visit the Avon Lake Library, even in to the last months of her life. She was an avid fan of Cleveland sports including the Cleveland Indians (Guardians) and the Cavaliers. "Our Gigi was cherished and loved and will be missed by so many."
