BENTON -- Mrs. Olive G. Hamilton, age 94, of Benton died Thursday at the Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton. She was born on Jan. 30, 1906, in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mrs. Hamilton was a housewife, and a member of the Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William Gatlin and Henry Hamilton.
Survivors sons and daughters-in-law, Vernon and Jean Gatlin, Benton, Floyd and Jamie Gatlin, Malvern; daughters and son-in-law, Virgie and J.T. Raper, Benton, Obeda Beck, Benton, Merylin Wright, Benton; brother and sister-in-law, Chancy and Alice Blagg, Little Rock; 21 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 42 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with burial at Traskwood Cemetery. Ministers will be Rev. Glen Tropp and Bro. Muncy Harris and will be assisted by Dale Beck. Family will have visitation at 2518 Wright Ave. Memorials may be made to the Traskwood Cemetery Fund, c/o Bobby Baxter, Traskwood, Ark. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
