Thos Balfe Passed Away at Tracy- Kilkenny Pioneer
Thos. Balfe, a former well known resident and pioneer of the Kilkenny community, passed away at Tracy, Minn., on Sunday, March 4th at the age of 66 years. Mr. Balfe left this county about five years ago. The deceased was a cousin of Mrs. Thos. Dewire, of this village and was also closely related to the Michael Hunt family. The remains were brought to Waterville, where the funeral was held yesterday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Leader Democrat, March 8, 1923. In the 1920 census he was a trucker for the railroad.
