Mrs. J. Steward Smith
GLEN ROCK – Mrs. Mary Jane Klinefelter Smith, 71, wife of J. Steward Smith, Glen Rock RD 3, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at York Hospital, where she was a patient the past week. She had been under a physician's care for several weeks.
Mrs. Smith, a native of Shrewsbury Township, was a daughter of the late Edwin and Sophia Bricker Klinefelter.
A life-long Glen Rock area resident, she resided at the above address for the past 27 years. Mrs. Smith belonged to the Lutheran Congregation of Jerusalem (Fissel's) Union Church.
Also surviving are two sons, James S. Smith, 40 Glen Ave., and Lewis E. Smith, Glen Rock RD 3; a grandson, and a brother, Walter Klinefelter, Dallastown.
Her pastor, the Rev. George Walborn, will officiate at funeral services Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jerusalem (Fissel's) Church Cemetery.
