Clifton Edward Hollon, Sr., passed away peacefully at home in Trinity, Texas on May 13, 2023. He was born in Rio Hondo, Texas on October 31, 1936, to James William and Louise Frances (Katchtik) Hollon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Rachel "Ruby" Hollon; son Clifton "Eddie" Hollon, Jr., son Michael Lloyd, and daughter Debrha McGhee; brothers Robert Fred Hollon and James William Hollon, Jr.

Clifton is survived by his daughter Stormi Ray; grandchildren Amber, Brittany, Dana, Ronald, Levi, Christopher, Jessica, Patricia, Mitchell, and Randy; great-grandchildren Jackson, Jordan, Jayden, Payton, Amber, Aaron, Reagan, Andrew, and Kinsley; and sister Dorothy Holmes. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.

Clifton was a carpenter for most of his career and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed being outdoors in his leisure time; fishing, hunting, BBQ'ing, and tending his vegetable garden. At home he could be found on the front porch playing his guitar and socializing with family and friends. He will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory and protect his legacy.
