Kitt Irene M, about 72, died Nov. 28, 1969 at McCray Hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1896 in Albion, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Chilcote. She was married to Herschel Kitt on June 12, 1915 in Albion EUB Church. She and her husband had been operating the Chain O' Lakes Rock Shop since his retirement from Chilcote & Kitt, a cabinet-making company. Surviving are three sons, James O. of Grand Junction, Colo., Martin P. of Denver, Colo., and Robert Alvin of Albion; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Last rites at Bonham, Miser & Brazzell Funeral Home Dec. 1. Burial, Rose Hill Cemetery.
