Hallie Ellene Sullivan Henry, 99, of Russellville, died Friday, August 10, 2007 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville. The daughter of Mack and Dora Rose Sullivan, she was born November 19, 1907 in Russellville. She married Doyle Henry on December 23, 1925 in Russellville. The family moved to Torrance, California in the early 1940's where Mr. Henry worked at Bethlehem Ship Yards making ships for the navy. Hallie worked at the Harbor General Hospital in Torrance. They returned to Russellville in 1969 following their retirement. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; a daugher, Lexie Lavenia St. Amand; a grandson, Danny D. Tucker; a great grandson, Douglas Henry Tucker Foreman; five sisters and a brother.
She is survived by a son, Charles Doyle Henry, Jr, Artesia, CA; two daughters, Irene Bell, Russellville and LaDoris M. Sims and her husband, Gerald, Paris; four Granddaughters and their husbands, Carolyn and Herman Sparks, Russellville, Linda and Ronnie Miller, Subiaco, ViVi and Ken Zigler, New Hall, CA, Kytti St. Amand, La Quinta, CA; four grandsons and their wives, Clifford Sims, Paris, Craig Henry, Long Beach, CA, Mark and Barbara Henry, Wakefield, MA, Bryan and Francis Henry, Torrance, CA; eleven great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2pm Monday, August 13, 2007 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Kenyon Kalvesmaki will officiate. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery at Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be Monday at 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home. Active Pallbearers will be Clifford Sims, Barry Sparks, Rodney Sparks, Nathan Miller, Jared Miller and Ronnie Miller.
