"Judy" was the name given to this murder victim that was found laying face down in the snow, near Littleton, WV on February 13, 1983. No arrests have been made in the case.
The body remained at the State Medical Examiner's office, in Morgantown, WV, for 10 years.
The body was adopted by John and Naomi Beaty, of Paden City, WV, in 1994 and was buried, after a proper funeral. Various organizations donated for "Judy's" burial.
"Judy" was between 35-40 years of age and had auburn-colored hair. She had double-pierced ears and was wearing orange toenail polish at the time her body was discovered. She had a scar on one of her index fingers, a cesarean section scar and a full upper denture plate.
Today, the case is in the hands of Sgt. Danny Swiger, the State Police cold case investigator.
