Mrs. Susie Glore Moreland
OWENTON---Mrs. Susie Glore Moreland, 95, widow of J. M. Moreland, died late Thursday at her residence in New Liberty after a long illness. She was a native of Scott County and a member of the New Liberty Christian Church.
Survivors are two sons, D. Vest Moreland and Elmer Moreland, New Liberty; four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Morris and Mrs. Joe Tackett, New Liberty; Mrs. Albert McEndre, Carrollton, and Mrs. Gano Rutherford, Nicholasville; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Bishop, Worthville Route 1, and Mrs. Vera King, Louisville; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Smither-Coates Funeral Home by the Rev. Bobby Mallory. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at New Liberty. The body is at the funeral home.
