Merrillville/Cedar Lake - Janet A. Alexander, age 54, formerly of Lowell, a resident of Cedar Lake for 15 years, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 10, 2001. Janet was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Crown Point. A former employee of Burrell Color Lab of Crown Point. Survivors; one son, Ronald (Jessica) of Lowell, two daughters, Deanna J. (William) Porter of Merrillville and Sherrie L. (Ted) Rossi of Schererville, six grandchildren, Ashley, Richard, Joseph, Charles, Stefani, and Aaron; one brother, David (Georgene) Oprea of Highland, one sister, Joanne (Bruce) Kiselstien, of Illinois, many loving nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
Funeral services will be private at the Burns Funeral Home (corner of 101st and Broadway) Merrillville/Crown Point Chapel.
