As a dedicated Home Health Provider, Anna Marie touched the lives of countless individuals with her compassionate and attentive care. Her passion for fishing brought her closer to nature, where she found solace and tranquility. Above all, Anna Marie's heart was filled with the love she had for her family, especially her sons, Luciano Barrientez III and Augustine Barrientez. Her husband, Luciano Barrientez Jr., was her rock and the love of her life, and together, they built a beautiful life in Mathis, Texas.
She was preceded in death by: her mother-in-law, Esperanza Marin Barrientez (Vita); her grandparents, Luis Arredondo Jr. (Popo Trailer) and Lilly B. Barrera (Momo Lele); and her great-grandparents Luiz T. (Apa) and Ysabel G. (Ama) Arredondo.
Anna Marie's legacy of love will live on through her survivors: her spouse, Luciano Barrientez Jr.; her sons, Luciano Barrientez III and Augustine Barrientez; her grandchild, Augustine Julian (AJ) Barrientez; her mother, Alicia Villagran; her father-in-law, Luciano Barrientez Sr.; her sister-in-law, Melinda Barrientez; her daughter-in-law Larrissa (Augustine) Barrientez; her step-sister, April Villagran; and her step-brother, David Villagran Jr.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 5:00pm at Trevino Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to follow at 7:00pm. The chapel service will take place on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 10:00am, also at Trevino Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Edroy Cemetery in Edroy, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Augustine Barrientez, Erik Ramos, Matilde Moreno, Julian Gonzales, Tommy Hinojosa, and Nathan Diaz.
Honorary pallbearers will be AJ Barrientez, Melinda Barrientez, Larissa Barrientez, and Jami Lane.
