Jerry Don Angle passed away on May 31, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on October 21, 1937. He was 85 years, 7 months, and 10 days old.

He was born on October 21, 1937 to Howard and Mabel (Poindexter) Angle in Amorita, Oklahoma. Jerry spent his childhood in Waldron, KS. After grade school, his family moved to Peabody, KS. The Angle family returned to the Anthony, KS area, where he graduated from Anthony High School in 1957. He then moved to Medicine Lodge, KS where he farmed and ranched until his death. He raised and showed registered Hereford cattle in his younger years. He was a member of the National Guard, serving for 8 years.

Jerry married Ursula "Uschi" Angle on February 10, 1982. She preceded him in death on February 8, 2010. To this union, Jerry became a proud step-father to Mike, Fred, and Earl VanRanken and Jerry and Uschi were surprised with the arrival of their daughter, Inge.

Jerry is survived by his children and grandchildren. Jerry is also survived by his brother and nephew, his beloved Angle and Poindexter cousins, extended family, friends, and a companion.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside funeral service and burial will take place on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge with John Hamm presiding.
