ELMER A. ANDERSON
PORTER -- Elmer A. Anderson, 67 of Porter, died early Tuesday in the Pleasant View Nursing home in Elkhart.
Born April 28, 1895, in Baillytown, he was the son of Adolph and Ingeborg Anderson. He married Beatrice Coleman, who preceded him in death.
Anderson was a former employee of the town of Porter. Hew was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are one brother, Harold of Porter; and two sister, Mrs. Hildegard Potter, Elkhart, and Mrs. Rose Geary, DeMotte.
Services are Thursday in the Carl Edmonds Funeral home with the Rev. John Chell, officiating from the Augsburg Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Augsburg Lutheran cemetery. Miliatary graveside rites will be conducted by the VFW.
