ANNA CATHERINE SIPE. Unexpected Demise of a Respected Carlisle Lady. Mrs. Anna Catherine Sipe died suddenly at her residence on North Hanover street at 1 30 o'clock this morning. She bad been seriously ill for the past week with heart failure, but her death was quite unexpected and was a terrible shock to her family and many friends.

Mrs. Sipe was a daughters of Peter Weibley and was born near Carlisle Springs nearly 83 years ago. The greater portion of her life was spent in this place where she has deservedly maintained the high respect of the community. Her disposition was cheerful and loving, and to the needy she always lent a helping hand. Strong were the ties of friendship her with her relatives and acquaintances.

The deceased was a devout member of the First Lutheran Church. Her husband was the late David Sipe. The following children survive Robt. F., Albert W. and Charles D. Sipe, ail of this place. Mrs. Abner Hilbebrandt, of Baltimore, is a sister of the deceased, Mrs. W. Hildebrandt, of Baltimore, is an adopted daughter of the deceased.
