Mary K. Lloyd died very suddenly, after but one day's illness. Deceased was born January 20, 1817, at Genesse county, N.Y., and passed away April 13, 1909, at the old homestead, Platea, aged 92 years, 2 months and 22 days. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owens of McKean. She has three sons living, Charles Lloyd, Kansas; William Lloyd, Girard; Lafayette Lloyd, Erie. Before her death she choose her text,"She Hath Done What She Could," from which the minister, Rev. Dr. Vincent of Girard, will preach the funeral sermon at the residence at 11 a. m. Thursday, April 15. Interment will be in East Springfield cemetery. One brother, David Owens of Erie, survives.
