BROERSMA - Chester H., age 71, of Franklin Lakes, died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at the Oakland Care Center. Chet was born in Lynden, WA and lived in Midland Park before moving to Franklin Lakes 35 years ago. He retired in 2000 after 45 years as the owner of Chet Broersma Floor Waxing of Franklin Lakes, was a member of Midland Park Christian Reformed Church and a Army Veteran. Beloved husband of Eunice (nee Meyers). Father of Barry of Ringwood, Brenda Bolhuis of Middleville, MI and Beverly Schaaf of North Haledon. Brother of Jeanette Eshuis of Lynden, WA, Marcella Verstraete of Grand Rapids, MI and Delmar of Lafayette, IN. Also survived by seven grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Bethany in 1992 and his brothers Julian and Marian.

A memorial service will be held Thursday 7:30 PM at Midland Park Christian Reformed Church, 183 Godwin Ave. Midland Park NJ 07432. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Chester H. Broersma Memorial Fund C/O Midland Park Christian Reformed Church. Arrangements by the Vander Plaat Funeral Home of Wyckoff.
