Abbey Grace Winchell, age 11, was born March 6, 2012 and passed away May 25, 2023. Abbey was the daughter of Steven Winchell and Lindsey Byrd.
Abbey loved sports, swimming, skiing, boating, fishing and riding horses. She played softball and basketball for West Side. Abbey attended West Side School and had many friends there. She also loved animals and had dreams of one day being a veterinarian.
She is survived by her father Steven Winchell and step-mother Dana Winchell, grandfather and grandmother Michael and Sheree Winchell, mother Lindsey Byrd, brothers Tre and Joseph, grandmother Ronda Byrd, Uncle Joseph Byrd.
Visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in the West Side First Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park.
