Margaret (Mickey) Zeller was born December 20, 1915 on a farm near Coon Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of Longley and Josephine Parker.

Mickey graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1933 and after graduation taught country school for ten years. On August 1, 1938 she was united in marriage to Roger Zeller of Bagley, Iowa at Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. The couple lived and farmed together in Greenbrier Township, Greene County, Iowa for many years and moved to Bagley in 1980. They retired from farming in 1983. Mickey was a long-time member of the United Methodist Church in Bagley. She was an active member of the Bagley Culture Club, played regularly in a Bagley bridge club, and was a 70+ year member of the ETW bridge club of Coon Rapids.

Mickey died on January 1, 2008 at the Greene County Long Term Care Facility in Jefferson, Iowa. She had just celebrated her 92nd birthday. Surviving are four children: daughter Sharon Nelson of Hampton, son Fred Zeller and Linda Baker of State Center, daughter Pam Barclay and husband Roger of Macomb, Illinois, and son Bob Zeller and wife Suzie of Bettendorf. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and many relatives and friends. Preceding Mickey in death are her husband Roger, granddaughter Julie Nelson, grandson Jamie Zeller, son-in-law Neal Nelson, sisters Leila, Eunice, Cecil, and Thelma and brothers Gurney, Seth, John, and Alfred.
