Donna E. Corley, 67, of Decatur, formerly of Macon, passed away on Wednesday (March 19, 2008) in Decatur Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday (March 22, 2008) in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon with her nephew, Pastor Scott Buxton officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery, Herrick, IL. Memorial contributions may be directed to Myers Cemetery or Buchanan Cemetery in Herrick, IL.

Mrs. Corley was born on March 26, 1940 in Shelby Co., IL the daughter of Oral W. and Etta M. (Beck) Horsman. She married Charles William "Bill" Corley on December 22, 1962. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1993.

Donna and Bill were avid St. Louis Cardinal fans and passed the love of the game and club on to their children and grandchildren. She attended Herrick High School, Herrick, IL. In later years she worked at Hi-Flier, General Electric, Red Wheel, Elks Lodge and Moose Lodge all in Decatur, IL until multiple sclerosis stilled her hard-work ethic.

She is survived by her children: John W. and his wife Mary of Decatur, IL, Joseph "Joe" W. of East Alton, IL, Brenda Jo Corley of Decatur, IL, Linda Sue Clark and her husband Eddie of Shelbyville, IL and Charles William "Bill", Jr. and his wife Dena of Forsyth, IL; fourteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sisters: Beth Clark of Sun City, AZ, Betty Cothern of Broomfield, CO, Lorna Brunken of Tower Hill, IL, Jo Ann Trusner of Decatur, IL, Phyllis Jean Buxton and her husband Oscar of Sullivan, IL and Brenda Peter and her husband Bill of Decatur, IL; brother-in-law: William "Bill" Turner of Sun City West, AZ; sister-in-law: Jean Corley Sarver of Herrick, IL; Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, two sisters, two nieces and one granddaughter: Elizabeth Sanders. Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend will be greatly missed by all.
