Legionnaires have been requested to meet at headquarters at 1 p.m. Monday to attend millitary rites for Harvey W. Sutherland, 68, 426 Pine, who died Friday at Hines hospital. Members who can take part are asked to telephone either Ed Zriny, 1020-M, or Steve Hanyzewski, 2383-W. The body may be viewed Sunday at 10 a.m. at Legion rooms.

Mr. Sutherland was born Dec. 12, 1887, in Seymour, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sutherland. His father survives in Seymour. Mr. Sutherland had lived here 20 years. He was married in 1921 to Mrs. Bertie Luscombe Fracis, this city, who preceded him in death. In 1942 he married Mrs. Vada Shadley, who survives. Three children also preceded him in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Seepro and Mrs. Ladonna Conrad, Connersville, Ind; four brothers, Albert, Edward, Sam, all of Seymour, and Walter, Shelbyville, and a sister Mrs. Edward Melloncamp, Seymour.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Carlisle funeral home with burial in Greenwood.
