Betty Lou lived in Bucks County PA. She was born at home to Lawrence and Helen [Zoldie] Gilmore in Deer Park, New Hope, grew up in Lahaska and moved to Doylestown in 1957 and resided in her home 65 years.

She was pre deceased by her husband, Victor Kurt Bumeder [09/29/1967] and is survived by Lawrence Bumeder [son] and his wife Kari. Shawn Bumeder [son] and his wife Patty, Grandchildren, Katelyn, Kyle, Stacie [Houston] and Keith.

She owned and operated the Fife and Drums gift shop, worked in restaurant businesses and the Doylestown Hospital. Many families appreciated her skilled beautician preparation of their loved ones at the Wittmaire-Scanlin funeral home. She greatly enjoyed the years spent with the Town and Country Players and Chalfont Lions Club. All the dogs in her life were loved on daily. However her greatest love was being a wife, mother and grandmother.
