Yevonne Ruth Robbins, 84, died on May 23, 2023, at New Albany Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. She was born May 26, 1938, in Aurora IL to Lora and Marvin Arend. She loved eating caramel candy while watching game shows but most importantly she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11 AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor David Barnette officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 26th, 5-8 PM, and Saturday, May 27th, 10 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by sons, Billy Joe Robbins of Pontotoc MS, Herbert Wayne Robbins, and James Earnest Robbins; daughter, Doris Jean Robbins of Chicago Ridge, IL; Jeff Robbins (Becky) of Pontotoc MS, Brain Scott Robbins (Pam) of Pontotoc, Bobby Robbins of Naperville, IL, Steven Michael Robbins (Dorothy) of Seymour, IN, Kevin Robbins (Tara) of Ingomar, MS; daughter, Lori Ann Sparks of Ripley, MS; one sister, Sandra Kruger of Somonauk, IL; approximately 40 grandchildren, a multitude of great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter, Kaya Sliker; niece Robin Green of Somonauk, IL, and one nephew, Robbie Green of St Charles, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H Robbins, a son, Ricky Sparks; and a daughter, Lynette Greif.
