Phil K. Norvell. 78. of 2585 Oswego St., Hannibal, died recently at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Syracuse, after a long illness. A native of South Wales, Erie County. Mr. Norvell lived in Hannibal 36 years. He retired as a sergeant first class after 30 years with Army Ordnance. Mr: Norvell served in the Pacific during World War II and also was a Korean War veteran. Mr Norvell also retired in 1976 as a lock tender at Lock Number 2 Fulton, after 11 years with the New York State Department of Transportation. Mr. Norvell was a member of Prior Stock Post. American Legion, and the Syracuse Developmental Center Chapter of the New York State Association for Retarded Citizens.
