ANGELY, Albert M., 80, of Richmond, passed away suddenly Saturday, January 29, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Angely; and his children, Steven (Judy) Angely, Trisha A. (Earnie) Singleton, and Jane A. (Jay) Singleton; his grandchildren, Christopher (Kacie) and Catherine Angely, Angela Massie, Whitney (Tyler) Simpson, Matthew (Liz), Daniel, Sean, Kim and Steven Singleton; his brother, Charles (Gerry) Angely; two great-grandchildren, and several nephews. Al was retired from the Virginia Department of Highways with 32 years of service, served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, and also volunteered at the Little Sisters of the Poor. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bliley's- Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., and where a Rosary will be held 7:30 p.m. Monday. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Benedict Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229.
