Anna Grace Barr graduated to Heaven on May 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Anna Grace was born to Roscoe Lee and May (Ayers) Milburn on July 24, 1933 in Ringling, Oklahoma.
Anna Grace attended grade school in Snyder and Waurika. Her family later moved to Fairview where she graduated in 1952 from Fairview High School. She continued her education at Bethany Nazarene University and Central State University where she studied Business Education. She and Charles Barr became acquainted in Oklahoma City, and they were later married in the town of Moore on March 28, 1969. This happy union was completed with the addition of their children from previous marriage – Charles' children and Ann's two sons, Milburn Douglas and Mark Grady Outhier.
Charles and Anna later moved to Yukon before they made their home in Vici for the next 40 years. Anna Grace worked for the postal service for 18 years.
Anna Grace was a Godly woman that loved the Lord. She was genuinely interested in every person's life that crossed her path. She was the queen at asking questions and taking all the pictures. She didn't miss a single detail.
Anna Grace was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved making friends, staying actively involved in her church, and serving in various volunteer roles around the community.
Anna Grace and Charles were always up for an adventure. They loved to travel and visit new places, visiting the lower 48 states in their mobile home with their beloved miniature dachshund, Mindy Ann. Anna looked forward to Heaven her entire life.
Anna Grace is preceded in death by her parents, Roscoe Lee and May Ayers Milburn; husband, Charles Barr; brother and sister-in-law, Star and Pearl, brother Troy, and brother and sister-in-law Paul and Ann Milburn; son, Milton David; and great-grandchildren, Sydney Barr and Garrett Barr.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Milburn and Deena Outhier of Weatherford, Oklahoma, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Marcia Outhier of Shepherdstown, West Virginia; sister-in-law, Jean Milburn; grandchildren, Ray and wife Tracy, Amanda, Jami and husband Jeremy, Mike and wife Kristy, Lynnsi and husband Jake, and Amy and husband Zac; great-grandchildren Josie, Zowie, Levi, Sydney, Cannon, Cash, Madison, Ace, Mayli, Guy, Max, and Major – and a number of loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
She was a loyal member of the Baptist Church. A special thanks to Pastor, Derek Cox, and her Fairview First Baptist Church family, and Peggy Green for her friendship and caretaking.
