-------
ETHEL E. BACIK, 81, Sarasota, Florida, died July 13, 2007. Her children will be gathering in Vintondale, Pennsylvania, on July 28, 2007, to honor her life and wishes. Survivors include her children, Frank of Olmsted Falls, Nancy Wenger of Sarasota, FL., Doug of Blairsville, PA., Charlotte Darwell (Bob) of Los Angeles, CA.; 11 grandchildren in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and California; and brothers, Ambrus Soos (Jenny) of Richfield and Elmer Soos (June) of Cleveland. Ethel was born in Vintondale, PA. After moving to Cleveland, she married Frank A. Bacik (Dec. 2003), eventually settling in the North Ridgeville/Columbia Station/Strongsville areas. She was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker extraordinaire. A lung cancer survivor for over six years, she was a hero to all those who knew her. She was blessed to be able to spend her last years enjoying the beauty of the S.W. Florida coastal area. Her strength and courage to simply enjoy every day was an inspiration. She was loved and will be missed. (Cleveland) Plain Dealer - July 18, 2007
