William Gantz.
The sudden death of William GANTZ, of Grantville Monday, as he was driving to Perry, was a shock to the community and locale. Mr. Gantz, found in his car, around 2:30 p.m. by Douglass Webb and Norman Hamm, had apparently realized an oncoming heart attack, and had pulled his car to the side of the highway in Perry.
Mr. Gantz, 59 years of age, a lifelong resident of Williamstown was married Oct. 29, 1924 to Lydia STEHWEIN. Of this union were born four daughters, Helen, Lorraine, Wilma and Elaine.
He is survived by his wife of the home, the four daughters, Mrs. Joseph QUINLAN, Perry; Mrs. Francis COON, Topeka; Mrs. Irl HART, Topeka; and Mrs. Eldon WORTHINGTON, Perry; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs Jennie GANTZ and Mrs. George HECK, Laurel, Montana, and two brothers, Emil and Fred of Williamstown.
