MRS.WALLACE AHRENDT
CHESTERTON - Mrs. Wallace (Martha S.) Ahrendt, 62, RFD 2, Chestertonk died at 8 a.m. today in Porter Memorial hospital
Bron June 7, 1900, in Sweden she was the daughter of Theodore & Eureka Schoults. One June 11, 1938, in Chicago, she was married to Wallace Ahrendt, who survives.
For the past 22 years, Mr. & Mrs. Ahrendt have operated the U.S. Steel Goodfellow Camp north of Chesterton. Mrs. Ahrendt was a member of the Augsburg Lutheran church, the ALCW and a former choir member.
Surviving besides the husband are one son, Theodore, at home; and three brothyer and two sisters residing in Sweden.
Services are Saturday in Augsburg Lutheran church with Rev John Chell officiating and burial in Burstrom cemetery. The body is at the Olson-Reiser Funeral home in Portage because of the Cole-Johnson Funeral home in Chesterton remodeling. Cole-Johnson is in charge.
