Silas Albert Chatfield, 64, a railway carman, died yesterday at his home, 1808 E. Prospect St., after a long illness.
Rosary will be said at 7 o'clock tomorrow evening in the Bonney-Watson chapel. Requiem Mass will be said at 9 o'clock Monday in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in Holyrood.
Mr. Chatfield was born in Springfield, S.D. He was a farmer and restaurant owner in the Wagner, S.D., area before coming here 12 years ago.
Survivors are his wife, Gladys M., and two sisters, Mrs. P.L. Kirwan, Deer Lodge, Mont., and Mrs. William Cassin, Springfield.
