Final Rites Held for John Jamison
Funeral services were held at Grace Baptist Church Sunday, 2 pm for John Earl Jamison, who died Sept 18 in the Jack County Hospital.
Officiating were Rev. B. W. Wallis and Rev. A. R. Bilberry. Arrangement were with Hawkins Funeral Home and burial was in Hicks Cemetery.
John Jamison was born Nov. 22, 1883 in Jack County, the son of G. W. and Levica Morton Jamison. He was married to Jack County Sept 15, 1903 to Chattie Creek, who died May 2, 1965.
He is Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roy Knight and Mrs. Archie Middlebrooks. of Jacksboro and Mrs. W. D. Brady of Dumont; a son, W. E. Jamison of Jacksboro; ten grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Herbert Jamison of Jacksboro; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Briscoe of Atoka, Oklahoma and Mrs. Nina Nordman of Fort Worth.
