Marsha Anne (Kenney) DiPersio, of Woburn

Marsha Anne (Kenney) DiPersio, 63, passed away Friday morning, Feb. 24, 2023 at Care Dimension Hospice House in Lincoln after a short battle with lung cancer. She was the loving wife of Anthony DiPersio for 35 years.

She was born in Winchester, MA on July 26, 1959 and was the daughter of the late Yvonne (Aucoin) Kenney.

Marsha took great pride in making a home for her loving husband and her children and was able to do so for the majority of her life. Although she was a busy mother of four daughters, she filled her time with many hobbies and activities. Aside from her husband, her second great love was reading novels and memoirs by authors such as Stephen King, Jodi Picoult, Sophie Kinsella, James Patterson, Harlan Coben, and Augusten Burroughs among many others.

Marsha loved sharing her passion of reading with others and spent many hours swapping books and discussing them in great detail with her friends and family.

Marsha fell in love with her husband, Tony, after watching him play guitar in her brother's rock band in the early 80s. A deep bond between them was created through the mutual love of music. She loved spending her time listening to music, attending concerts with her husband and friends. collecting over hundreds of CD's over the years of various bands. Some of her favorite artists included The Beatles, Queen, 80s hair bands, Tom Jones, Pink Floyd, Peter Frampton, The Monkees, Gary Moore, and The Who to name a few.

She had a love for watching and cheering on all Boston sports teams, hardly ever missing a Patriots, Bruins, or Celtics game on TV. She loved talking about sports with her husband and with her grandsons, Evan and Colin.

Marsha made a statement everywhere she went with her contagious laugh, bigger than life personality, and her stylish wardrobe including the highest of high heels. She made friends everywhere she went and could talk to anyone for hours. She relaxed by talking with friends and family, while losing inhibitions with an earthy substance. Marsha knew something about every subject, from sports and music to art, politics, and history. She took great pride in her intellect.

All her life she had a love for sports cars. She owned many throughout the years, including T-birds, Camaros, and most recently, her Mazda RX-8. One of her greatest joys was driving fast (safely), and listening to her music at max volume. She enjoyed driving up to Long Beach and Bearskin Neck for sunbathing and beach days with her family.

Nothing topped her morning Pepsi, enjoying a great meal, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the cool Mom, Gramma, and YaYa. She adored her grandchildren and was always dancing, playing, and laughing with them. Never hesitating to jump on an amusement ride, zoom down a slide, ride a pony, or even a giant animatronic T-Rex. Her children and grand children will miss her greatly.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her four daughters, Samantha Bilotta and her husband Stephen of Dracut, Jessica Thain and her husband Corey of Frisco, TX, Bianca Bye and her husband Martin of Dracut and Jacqueline DiPersio of Chelmsford, a brother, Stephen Kenney and his wife Laura of Lowell, her niece, Alexis Kenney and nephew, Ian Kenney, seven grandchildren, Evan, Colin, Gwen, Brooke, Grace, Carter and Baby Girl Bye on the way, as well as many close family and friends.
