Doris A. "Audy" Quayle, 96, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully Friday, May 12, 2023, at Continuing Care Nursing Home, Milan.

She was born March 3, 1927, in Milan, to Gustav and Lucinda (Smith) Doerner and graduated from Milan High School in 1945.

Audy enjoyed sewing and made numerous quilts. She also loved riding her John Deere tractor. She was a volunteer for over 25 years at Stein Hospice (now Hospice of Western Reserve) and also worked for American Cyanamid of Cleveland. She was a member of Edison Memorial Church.

Audy's survivors include her sisters, June Weilnau and Marian Webb; brother, Robert Doerner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Audy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William, Russell, Lewis, and Donald Doerner; and sisters, Helen Mittower, Dorothy Haag, Marjorie Mittower, Wilma Russ, and Judy Haas.

Graveside services will take place privately at Milan Cemetery with Chaplin Mel Sayler presiding.
