George M Bacon Rites Held Saturday
Funeral services for George M Bacon, well-known Boswell resident, were conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Assembly of God church by the Rev. J. T. Flanagan. Burial in Boswell cemetery was in charge of Bingham-Cooper Funeral home. Mr. Bacon, a retired farmer, had lived at Boswell 38 years. He died at his home there Wednesday, February 6, at 10:45 a.m. He was a native of Missouri, born September 16, 1876, in McDonald county. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Bacon, of Boswell, four sons and one daughter. They are Lowell Bacon, of Boswell; Eddeth Bacon of Sawyer; George Bacon, United States Marine Corps; Billy Bacon pf Belton, Texas, and Mrs Mildred Nelson of Belton, Texas. Two grandchildren also survive.
