DOROTHY PAULINE ALDRICH--86: died Saturday [6-29] at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center in Marshalltown following a short illness. She was born 2 Feb 1916 in rural Montour, a dau of Wallace Earl & Lottie Mathern Murty. She attended school in the Tama & Toledo communities & graduated from Toledo High School. She received her normal training & taught country school for 3 years in the Toledo area.
On 30 Dec 1943 she was united in marriage to Warren Aldrich at St Boniface Catholic Church in Garwin. Warren & Dorothy made their home all their married lives on a farm southeast of Garwin. For 30 years Warren & Dorothy spent their winters in the McAllen TX area, but due to ill health they remained at home during the past 2 winters.
