Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, Janice graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan. Before becoming a mother, she worked as a medical secretary at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Media and Crozer-Chester Medical Center. She spent the last two decades of her life in Central Florida.
Janice was an avid fan of science fiction and horror, including Dark Shadows, Star Trek, Forever Knight, and especially The X-Files, a tradition carried on by her equally X-Files-obsessed daughter!
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Stella (nee Ziemba) Ellison, and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and James Rothaar, both of Claymont, Delaware.
Janice was inurned next to her cousins, aunt and uncle, and paternal grandparents.
