John & Emiline Slusser Anspach
Anspach, John P. (b. May 26, 1836 in Ohio, d. Mar. 31, 1911)
came with his father to Sullivan Co. in 1855. He was married May 11, 1856 to Emiline Slusser in Indiana. Emiline, (b. July 25, 1838, d. Nov. 1, 1883) was interred in the Milan Cemetery, but when a new road was routed through the old cemetery her remains were moved to the Lemons Cemetery. They were the parents of ten children: Augusta, (Mrs. Wallace Kimes) b. Aug. 25, 1857, d. Mar. 2, 1947; John, b. Apr. 10, 1861, d. Sept. 1939; Charlie, b. Sept. 13, 1865, d. Dec. 1943; Lulu Mathews, b. Mar. 10, 1867, d. Sept. 7, 1952; Edward b. June 30, 1869, d. Feb. 10, 1946; Christain, Feb. 14, 1871, d. Aug. 7, 1950, Chris married Maude Kinton; Martha Jane, Sept. 18, 1872, d. Oct. 6, 1873; William, b. Dec. 18, 1874, d. Oct. 1962; Lem, b. Apr. 13, 1876, d. Dec. 18, 1872; Alice, b. Oct. 20, 1877, d. May 8, 1944; Jacob, b. Feb. 17, 1880, d. Oct. 21, 1936.
