April, 1913, Kingsgate, B.C. border crossing records shows H. W. Andrews, age 54, born in Illinois, travelling from Spokane, Washington. With him was his wife, Mrs. H. W. Andrews, 36, born in Iowa, his son, M. Andrews, 24, born in South Dakota and daughter, Florence Andrews, age 4, born in South Dakota.
Henry W. Andrews and Josephine McCarty were married at Edmonton, Alberta in 1928.
On June 12, 1929, Henry made a homestead entry for NE24-53-20W5, near Marlboro, Alberta. Henry declared his place of birth as Illinois, age 70, and that he had previously been farming in Marlboro. No record found for a land grant application/approval.
The 1930 Washington census finds his first wife living at Lake Forest Park, King County, Washington, with her daughter and son-in-law, Mabel and Arne Lynum, showing that Ella (Olena) was divorced.
1938 Border Crossing Records from Canada to the U.S.A., at Sweetgrass, Montana, show Henry Wellington Andrews, born Dec. 27, 1858 at Woodhull, Illinois, occupation, Entertainer, living at Edson, Alberta, and travelling to visit his daughter, Grace Lewis at Conrad, Montana. Henry was married at this time to Josephine Andrews. Ever to the U.S.--Yes: 1910, 1914-1919 & visit Ill & Cal.

Dakota, Morrie of Shining Bank, Alta., Logan of Edmonton, three daughters, Mrs. M. Carney of Boise, Idaho, Mrs. Gus. Lewis of Forest, Idaho, and Mrs. H. F. Woodcock of Edmonton, also brothers and sisters in the U.S.A.
