Barbara Aniece (Bolton) Featherston, 81, of Winslow, Indiana entered into rest on May 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on November 27, 1941, in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Fred and Helen (Bolton) Nelson.
Barbara was a member of Grace General Baptist Church in Winslow, Indiana for over 15 years. Barbara is a Bunker Hill High School graduate, class of 1959. In 1961, she married the love of her life Robert Featherston. She spent most of her time caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved playing the piano for her church and family. Barbara was a faithful Christian woman devoted to her family, although she never met a stranger and would talk to anyone. There was lots of love and lots of laughs. She loved flowers, made a mean apple pie, and was always there to kiss an ouchy.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Gary (Darla), David, and Bobby (Tawnya) Featherston; and daughters Kellie (Pat) Blume, and DeeAnna (John) Morton; and 16-grandchildren and even more great grandchildren.
Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents, Fred C. and Helen G. Bolton; and her husband of nearly 50 years, Robert Wayne Featherston.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 2 P.M. Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. The service will be officiated by Pastor Henry Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana.
