Mr. Jones retired from Rayethon where he was employed as a heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) technician as a sub-contractor for the United States Army in Warren, Michigan. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he was a past member of the Masonic Lodge of Saint Clair Shores, Michigan, The Lions International Club and the various amateur radio associations. He enjoyed photography, computers, reading and music. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Janet (nee Bresnaham) Jones; parents, Verby Sterling Jones and Beatrice Ellen (nee Fisher) Jones; brothers Carl Almon, Clayton Arvel and Joe Alfred Jones; and sisters Georgia Nora Lee (Victor) Farley and Patricia Dian (Austin) Owenby as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
