Kirk Douglas Moreland, age 65, of Wilder, Kentucky, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his loving family, on May 10, 2023. He was born on September 28, 1957. He attended Asbury Methodist Church and loved to serve others.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Jim and Nancy Bosley Moreland; and his beloved daughter, Brandi Moreland. Kirk is survived by: his wife, Teresa; a daughter, Sonoma Moreland; a son, Rett (Megan) Moreland; two sisters, Sheila (Bob) Metz and Kimila (Scott) Keister; an honorary family, Tyler and Haley Tresenrider; four grandchildren, Nolan Tresenrider, Marley Joy Peterson, Blakely Tresenrider and Magnolia Grace Moreland; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Cooper Funeral Home. Services will begin at 3:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Johns Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made in Kirk's name to the James Fund for Life, Ohio State University, 14 East 15th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Cooper Funeral Home is serving the family.
