Jerry was born October 3, 1940, as one of 5 children to the late Melvin and Pauline (Edwards) Behimer.
He grew up on a farm and spent most of his life in the grain and feed business. Jerry was known for his generosity, often going above and beyond for those close to him. He was known for his Halloween parties, skill in cooking in the kitchen, and being with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Phyllis; children Shannon (Gretchen) Behimer, John (Rhonda) Behimer, and Natalie (Michael) Malloy; grandchildren Ben, Will, Kelsey, Jessica, Morgan, Ella, and Fitzgerald.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, January 7th from noon to 1:00pm in the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N. Canton, OH 44714. A memorial service will begin at 1:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Canton YMCA Development Center.
