BURLESON - Rosalee F. Williams went home to be with her Heavenly Father on May 3, 2023, at the age of 93.

Funeral service: 12 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023 in the Breyley suite in Mount Olivet Chapel.

Rosalee was born on July 2, 1929 in Earlsboro, OK. She attended elementary and high school in Earlsboro, OK Class of '47. She later worked as a telephone operator for the local phone company. It was while working there that she met her husband, Collin E. Williams, Sr. He called one Sunday afternoon to ask her to go to church with he and some friends. That led to their courtship and later, marriage.

Rosalee and family moved to Ft. Worth, TX in April 1950. She was a resident of Ft. Worth for over 72 years. Beloved mother of 4 children, she devoted her life to the Lord, her children and the church. She was a long-time member of Eastside Baptist Church, as well as Mid-Cities Baptist Church, where she served in several positions ranging from Sunday school teacher to church Secretary.

She also had a 22-year career in retail, working at Monnig's Department Store in downtown Ft. Worth and later at Dillard's Department Store, in Ft. Worth. She worked in men's clothing and was also an assistant buyer, when she retired in 1996 due to health issues.

Rosalee was preceded in death by her mother, Edlen Franken and her father, Joseph Franken; her sister, Betty Jewel Wheeler; husband, Collin E Williams, Sr.; and her daughters, Nancy E. Wilson and Zaneta Watkins.

She is survived by her daughter, and son-in-law, Sandra and Jim Randall of Burleson, TX; her son, and daughter-in-law, Collin E. Williams, Jr. and Debbie Kelley of McKinney, TX; and her son-in-law, Gary and Sherry Wilson.

She was blessed with eight grandchildren and their spouses; Apryl & Blake Huff, Steve Watkins, Rusty & Jennifer Watkins, Allyson & Alfred Wayson, Jason and Daria Harvison, Adam and Casey Randall, Joshua and Peyton Randall and Dakota and Chandler Gerlach.

Also, her legacy is carried by 19 great-grandchildren, Joseph, Darryn Jr. and Cooper Wilson, Ashley Huff, Maximillian and Sinclair Watkins, Ryan and Ethan Watkins, Logan, Caden and Rosalie Harvison, John Randall, Madison and Kalie Randall, Luke, Brad, George Gerlach, Bailey and Logan Gray.
