Carol Ann Wiens, 66, passed away November 11, 2014 at the Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born March 22, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Edward and Anna Pearl Turlington Barth. She was a registered nurse and a member of the Buhler Mennonite Church, Buhler. On July 19, 1970 she married Allen Wiens at Buhler. He survives. Other survivors are her children, Brenda Wiens (Jeremy Sundgren) of Gainesville, FL, Becky Wiens of Hutchinson, Sarah (Aaron) Morgan of De Pere, WI, Aaron Wiens of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Emily (Travis) Thrasher of Russell, KS, 2 sisters, Doris Kushch and Joan Barth both of Wisconsin, 1 brother, Edward Barth of Massachusetts, and 2 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., with family present from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Buhler Mortuary, Buhler. Funeral Service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, November 14, 2013 at Buhler Mennonite Church, Buhler with Pastor Willmar Harder officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery, Buhler. Memorials may be sent to either the Buhler Mennonite Church or Sunshine Meadows Parkinson's Disease Support Group in care of Buhler Mortuary, 120 North Main, Buhler, Kansas 67522.
