Eddie Mack Cowley of Stroud died Saturday in Oklahoma City at the age of 42.
He was born Sept. 20, 1955, in Chandler, the son of Eddie Guy Jr. and Venita Mae (Speer) Cowley. He graduated from Stroud High School in 1973 and married Sherry Murphy in Chandler on May 13, 1974.

He worked as a computer technician for EMC Corporation of Tulsa and had moved to Stroud from Cedar Hill, Texas. He was affiliated with Stroud Holiness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry, of the home; sons, Christopher Cowley, Tulsa; Justin Cowley, Stroud; brother, John Jenkins, Oklahoma City; sister, Donna K. Oldham, Dallas, Ga., and many other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and grandparents.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kendrick Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Howley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Stroud.
