Robert J. Hogarth, age 75, of Levittown, Pa., died Sunday, July 10, 2005 in Chandler Hall.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifetime area resident. He retired from Bethlehem Steel as a mechanic and was currently working as a School Crossing Guard with the Neshaminy School Dist. at Samuel Evereitt Elementary School. Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed bingo.
He is survived by his wife Frances (Beck) Beatty Hogarth; two daughters, Kathie Murphy and husband Leo and Mabel Ferris and husband James; his step children, John Beatty, Kathleen Tshudy and husband Earl, Richard Beatty, William Beatty and wife Florence, Kevin Beatty and wife Kim, Paul Beatty and wife Eileen and Virginia Romano; two brothers, Ralph Hogarth and wife Patricia and Winfield (Buddy) Hogarth; 23 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, Amanda, Haley, Joshua, Michael, Justina and Kayla; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert; two sisters, Doris and Mary; and a brother, Elwood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his service on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 10 a.m., at Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, Pa., where entombment will immediately follow. There are no viewing hours prior to the service.
