Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March, 18, 2008, at Old Homer Cemetery north of Homer. Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand St. Joseph, is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Rogers was born September 4, 1924, at Neva, Tenn., at daughter of Issac and Margaret Tester Bear. She married Bernard "Buck" Rogers on January 28, 1941, in Kentucky. He preceded her on February 29, 2000.
She is survived by two sons. Elbert Rogers and Mike Rogers, both of Homer. Two Daughters, Margaret Shirley of Homer and Cathy Roberts of Rantoul; 14 grandchildren, several great- and great-great grandchildren, one brother, Ned Bear of Homer, and one sister, Juanita Brown of Homer. She was preceeded by her parents and a daughter, Georgia Shelby. Mrs. Rogers was a homemaker.
