Jodi Driskell, age 54, took her last breath, Saturday, October 30th, 2021, surrounded by close family, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Jodi Selene Driskell was an adored wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She met her husband, Frank Driskell, while attending high school in Fort Myers, Fla. Then she followed her dreams to attend Emory & Henry College and become a teacher. As an educator, teaching kindness was the most important lesson to her. Anyone who knew her would say she taught by example. As a huge book lover, Jodi loved to learn, and she loved to travel. She was a dog lover, and is preceded by her fur baby Oreo, and survived by fur baby Ghost. Her greatest treasures in life were her children, Samantha, Johnie, and son-in-law Austin. Jodi was truly an irreplaceable soul and her lessons will continue to live on through everyone she touched.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Johnie and Lessie L. Greer paternal grandparents, William H. and Viola Johnson and uncle, William Vaughn Greer.

Jodi is survived by her husband; daughter and husband; son ; parents; sister,; niece and nephew; special friends.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Attoway Cemetery, 2206 Highway 16 South, Marion, Va. with Pastor David Hodges officiating.
