Arleen Lorraine Fragale of Pensacola, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008. She was 65 years old and a member of Floridatown Baptist Church in Pace.
Arleen was born on November 4, 1942 in Washington, D.C. to Jack and Lillian Gerlacher. She relocated to Pensacola in 1980. She was employed by the State Attorney's Office as a secretary to the Assistant State Attorney and later became a Victim's Specialist. She was passionate about this position because she was a natural at helping innocent victims of serious crimes. After 25 years of dedicated service, she retired in April, 2006.
She was an avid fan of the Washington Redskins. She loved spending time with her family and especially her two grandsons, Randy and Jacob Price.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by four loving children, James A. Fragale, Peter J. (Carolyn Colna) Fragale, Jr., Anna (Patrick) Price, all of Pace, FL, and John-David Fragale of Bridgeport, W.V.; one sister, Lynn (Scott) Kopach, Sevierville, TN; one brother, Jack (Peggy) Gerlacher of Maryland and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
Active pallbearers will be David Rimmer, Patrick Price, Randy Goforth, Scott Kopach, Randy Price, and Frankie McGill, Jr.. Honorary pallbearer will be Jacob Price.
Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
